TALON Gun Grips

March 2014 Vol. 7

TALON News

TALON Grips is really thankful for each and every customer that has supported us over the years. From those that have bought grip after grip and told everyone they know about TALON to the hesitant newcomer that is trying TALON Grips for the first time. When the idea of TALON Grips was born out of a practical need, we thought it would be cool if we found 100 people that liked what we were doing. We could have never dreamed that it would grow into the business that it is today. Thank you everyone for your support, and we will continue to work hard to provide the best grips available.

As far as new designs go, we have moved our focus to Heckler & Koch and Sig Sauer. Under the new products you will notice three new HKs this month with more HKs and Sigs to come in the following months. We are constantly adding new products, but we would love to hear your requests for new products. Please fill out our grip request page for new product suggestions. We read every request that comes in and have an ever growing development list that we attack based on the number of requests.

Keep an eye on the homepage for new photos and hero shots. Again, we appreciate all of your support, and we love to hear from our customers.

Stories Worth Repeating

Grandpa's Shotgun

Sometimes shared memories run stronger than shared blood.

I never knew my grandfather that well. Really, he was my step-grandfather, my mother's stepfather. Her real dad died in France of pneumonia when I was no more than a toddler. Her mother remarried an American soldier—the man I referred to as "Grandpa."

In my youth, I spent a good deal of time with Grandpa. We fished together, made things out of wood and he even let me drive his truck a few times before I was 10 years old. But I've always wondered if I was close to him because of the love I felt for my grandmother—Mimi, we all called her, because of our French heritage. Talk about a sweet-hearted lady.

Over the years, our time together dwindled. High school came and went with sports and girls, then college with parties and girls, and finally my restlessness to see other places. I guess you could say I separated myself from a lot of my family.

"Dear Madam or Sir; I am a totally and permanently disabled Air Force Veteran. I have tried numerous grips, from numerous companies, to assist me in attaining a comfortable grip with my firearms. I recently purchased a 45 caliber Springfield XDs. I love the gun, but I found the grip design, "Chewing Up," my arthritic right hand during range practice. I happened upon an ad for your Talon grips. I ordered a set for the XDs last week, installed the grip (very easy to install), and took the XDs to the range. The grip is absolutely God sent! It has made range practice a sheer pleasure! I am now in the process of saving my pennies to buy grips for my 9mm M&P Shield, and my Glock 26 and 27. Thank you so much for providing such a quality product. I will be a life long customer. My best to you,"
